❓ Given this reality, is the rollout of Pi DEX (Native AMM) at this stage actually justified?

There are two strong arguments to consider:

▸ THE "YES" CAMP:

DEX is the lifeblood of liquidity. Without a DEX, developers lack the financial tools and incentives to issue project tokens, raise funds, and upgrade their products. Building the liquidity infrastructure first is essential to kickstart ecosystem growth.

▸ THE "NO" CAMP:

When utility-driven applications aren't fully mature, introducing a DEX risks turning the ecosystem into a speculative playground for short-term tokens. Capital might get diverted into liquidity pools instead of driving the real-world adoption of dApps.

💡 Perspective: Financial infrastructure often needs to be built one step ahead of demand. Integrating a native DEX at the protocol level (Protocol 26) may be a strategic foundation, ensuring that as more dApps wake up, the necessary financial engine is already fully operational.
