As brand representatives and owners when we see shady stuff, we dont always highlight it.
It's a tough business getting stuck in the crossfire of someone else's mess.
Does it make it right?
Well it's tough.
There is a cost associated with dragging our brand in but it hurts to not say anything.
Sometimes I want to call people out, and call out poor behavior, or poor leadership but I am careful, its a slippery slope to be on.
If I do this, it can lead to a complete energy depletion on something not helping me build my own product.
I applaud those who don't have to worry about brand optics and respectfully call people out.
There has to be some accountability for the shifty characters that take advantage of people here.
Its a tough road being diplomatic always, but its essential to remain focused.
