Gor Mahia has written to FKF requesting a change of venue of their away match against Mara Sugar this Sunday. Mara wants this game to be played in Awendo which is too small, unsafe, and uncomfortable for a club of a magnitude like the 21x champion Gor Mahia, husband of teams.

K’Ogalo says Awendo lacks sufficient capacity, proper entry/exit points, crowd control measures, and emergency evacuation protocols posing a serious risk to the incoming league champions who need just one win to be crowned. It is anticipated that thousands will attend this historic match.
