Today, the MUWASCO Choir joined fellow Kenyans in celebrating the 63rd Madaraka Day at Murang’a Teachers College through a heartfelt patriotic performance that echoed our shared pride, unity, and love for country.

Today, MUWASCO had the honour of hosting the WASPA Bi-Monthly Meeting in Murang’a County, bringing together sector stakeholders to discuss innovative and sustainable solutions aimed at improving water service delivery and reducing Non-Revenue Water.

Today in Maragua, we upgraded the water network by shifting connections to a new 2km pipeline to reduce losses and illegal connections, and relocating meters for easier access and efficient reading.
The new line will serve 250+ residents with fewer bursts and blockages.

Earlier today, we held a termly performance evaluation meeting with our sponsored students at the boardroom. These candidates, drawn from various high schools, are beneficiaries of our flagship Muwasco Masomo Bora Programme, which has been running successfully for the past 10yrs.
Earlier today, we partnered with the Murang'a County Government through its flagship Murang’a Youth Service program, alongside the Co-op Bank Kenya,Amica SACCO and other stakeholders, in a clean-up exercise within Maragua town, including the unblocking of the notorious Malaria.

A team of us attended a public participation forum at Kamira, convened by the area Chief and attended by the DCC and other government leaders, where key concerns on our tariff and ongoing water flow challenges were addressed and guidance given on the way forward.
Day 3 benchmarking at Kisumu Water brought our Board & Senior Management together for valuable learning and exchange on NRW management, billing systems, service delivery, and customer experience.
