What the UV rays does to the roofing sheets is ideally to breakdown the color pigment (depending on complexity of the polymer) that the roofing sheet is made of, then peeling starts before exposing the inner layer of the sheet to the scorching sun. The sheets end up warping and weakening in the long run 3/
One of the many things I appreciated during @antiquebuildsol Mentorship Program's industrial visit to @MuwiRoofingTile Factory is the fact that builders and their clientele alike will continue complaining about fading and discolored roofing sheets. Why? 1/
@cenas_j@antiquebuildsol@MuwiRoofingTile Over the years, are there any measures they've put in place to counter that to distinguish their roof from others? I'm assuming that since they know the problem is UV rays, they would try to find the "sunscreen" for it to make their roofing sheets last longer?
The A team from @MuwiRoofingTile paid us a visit on site and indeed I learnt a lot from the plastic products they manufacture such as iron sheets, PVC pipes and many others.
