BREAKING:
Ontario’s Superior Court of Justice rules in favour of UofT. Students protesting a genocide must end camp by 6 pm tomorrow or face police violence.
The UofT administration has been granted the
immoral license to unleash police violence
against its own community. 🧵
UPDATE: Markus Koehnen, the judge presiding over #UofT's case against the #encampment protesters, will make a decision on whether the #injunction will be granted by Friday or Tuesday. The original date for the decision was set for today.
So a @uoft professor named Kenneth Green said that all encampments were led by “pro Hamas advocates” (in a @nationalpost article)linking everyone to a terrorist group? Am I the only one appalled by this. I just recently came across this comment piece.

@fordnation making racist comments that is sososososo shocking 🙃🫠. It's not like he’s never made a bunch of racist and anti-immigrant comments before.

Today @globeandmail with @JSchool_CU AI roundtable talk. We are just two sessions in and it’s eye opening to learn how much AI can be used in news production and will be prevalent in newsrooms in the next five years.

I can say from my own personal account of covering the encampments today the only hate speech and harassment was coming from counter protesters. You can’t tell me someone is not an agitator when they go up to student and tell them to go back where they come from.
12:30 pm: An estimated 200 protesters stayed overnight at the student #encampment as it enters its fifth day at King's College Circle. Approximately 55 tents remain set up on the field.
Here to cover the @UofT encampments at Kings College Circle for @TheVarsity . I am going to be sharing updates throughout the day so check out our Twitter account ➡️

For Curbed, I wrote about what we experienced as student press last night, and how student protesters inside Hamilton Hall were left alone, with hardly anyone to document what happened to them during the arrests. https://t.co/eQLbsjRi6m
Dozens of #UofT students have started an encampment in the early hours of Thursday to advocate that the university divests from Israeli companies. #Gaza#Israel#Palestine#universityoftoronto

“Simcoe Hall, shut it down”: Around 20 students are protesting in #UofT's main governance building, calling for U of T to divest from companies with ties to the Israeli military. The protesters said they won't leave until U of T meets their demands.
