@snowleopardess Tories are pushing NHS towards privatisation. It appears to me to be a trend for everything.
If it makes money treasury will back it.
If it is a drain on the treasury (trains; NHS; benefits) offer it out for privatisation or ditch it for charities to pick up and support.

They are pumping money into oil and gas projects around the world. Mozambique is one.

The environment isn’t even on his radar, though he says it is. But his action so far reveal the total lie.

Look at tourist ind. as pandemic was spreading.
Public were told everything was rosey.
People were still booking holidays abroad.
In reality ppl were cancelling big style. It’s become the norm to lie to protect your business interests

Only they know the true reasons why they won’t act. For me, I think they’ve been told ages ago that it is too late but they won’t say that because of the world wide anarchy and unrest that would follow. So they keep quiet and carry on.

@BBCNews Another example of corrupt developers. Area is prone to coastal erosion. The land will be very cheap. Developers will make a fortune building and shoring up the cliffs. Whether it works or not is not their problem. By the time that happens. They will be long gone with the money.

So they must know that climate change will wreck all economies like nothing ever before. I can only think that they know they won’t be in the hot seat when it all collapses
