Got an acceptance today for a story that's been rejected by at least 50 other magazines and has gone through more revisions than I can remember. Keep submitting. Keep revising. Don't give up.
Good start to the week. My #poem "Please Press One for Condolences" is just up in The Flatbush Review, along with work from Gary Glauber, Devon Balwit, and lots of other cool writers.

It's easy to feel lost. When I feel overwhelmed I imagine my parents before I was born & know somehow, I was there. Then before my grandparents, back, back. I take my mind into the sea where jellyfish inexplicably & very real-ly have always been. I was there.
When we worry we’re not where we should be, we forget there is no “should be.” You’re you, I’m me, our bodies literally cannot be in the exact same place at once. While you go after what you want, accept yourself as you are at this moment. No one is exactly where anyone else is. https://t.co/dlmEEVZlp4
