As a peasant myself,I will tell you that I no longer feel sorry for my fellow poor people. Maskini ni mtu mjinga sana. And I mean this in the most respectful way. If you see the things that make the poor man happy, the things that excite him,the things that he chooses to focus on compared to that which he should be focusing on,unapatwa na huzuni sana. Its very hard to help people who don’t even understand what better looks like.
