“We showed that when everything is going well, we arrange something to make it difficult.” Armorin, 20 September 2025 after beating Chelsea 2 - 1. The cycle continues
Last season, the ownership was the problem. This season, the ownership and the coach are both the problem.
Carrick has never been good enough. Last season fooled people into thinking he was a top coach, but we were simply lucky. The performances were never convincing.
🚨 Michael Carrick: “The team's on me. So when we win, people say I'm doing a good job… and if we don't win or we don't get results, then a lot of it's on me”.
“So I accept that, I'm not hiding away from any of that”.
It took less than three hours between the end of the Manchester derby for Pro Ref to issue a statement & admit a blatant, costly mistake.
A linesman correctly called offside. VAR, worth £3.5m per season, wasted 3 minutes & 51 seconds only to eventually overturn the originally correct call.
So what's the consequence? If Managers & players are fined & banned, what for @prorefofficial? Apologies do nothing & there's no punishment for fatal error.
PGMOL rebranded to Pro Ref, but nothing changed. Incompetence is the standard. An embarrassment, but I'd expect nothing less from the Premier League.
They've allowed City - who benefited here - to carry on as normal despite being charged 1,316 days ago in the biggest scandal English football has ever seen.
At least Ghana spared us the drama. There were no suspicions of manipulation because they made their intentions clear from the first whistle; they looked like a team determined to lose, and they stayed true to that plan.
This is deeply concerning. The Ministry has known for years and failed to act, this is no longer a school issue it’s systemic failure. Inaction allows harm to continue. Accountability and decisive action are long overdue. @nickmangwana@TorerayiMoyo
@WillarShoko It seems Greater Harare is still at capacity, but surrounding areas like Marondera have started opening up. Hopefully Starlink will open up Greater Harare soon as well.
@TelOneZW Kana uchida kufamba uchitaura wega ita zve TelOne izvi! Hallmark of poor service in every respect 2 weeks with an unresolved connectivity issue in this day n age. @TelOneZW@EcoCashZW
Let's be honest guys, these players were given numerous chances and in some cases contracts but they failed to deliver. Let's just agree these players are good but not for the Premier League
Nothing will work in ZW until we have understood th genesis of our problems, ownership won't change our mindset nor drive progress. Schools hv spent millions in acquiring buses (for status) yet most of these do not STEM facilities. Dynamos is an example, we need a mindset change.
Why should Avondale primary school remain a state school? It has prime real estate and a waiting list to infinity. It should be made private or in the least given to the community to run. That way it can build better and more infrastructure and accommodate more students.
More schools in urban areas must be privatized. It’s a special kind of demonic possession that turns a blind eye to the mushrooming of houses turned to schools in neighbourhoods. How does the minister and Parliament sleep at night when a solution is staring right in front of them.
@Malachians Painful indeed though it's a blessing in disguise, imagine going into the summer (or another season) not knowing we NEED a goal keeper. Onana isn't good enough for us, it's beyond dispute.
@Mbongen61739987 @matigary Modern systems (ERP's) have whittled the role of a traditional accountant as we know it, sadly these universities are churning out the 80's and 90's Accountants.
