@OwenJones84 A lot of people are missing the point of this post. Owen isn't saying that older generations haven't suffered. There has always been poverty. The point is that this is what melennials and gen z have grown up with. Foster solidarity instead of generational infighting.
@AlexETransGirl @ShinjiTheCuban@FDsignifier As a pianist, the Liszt to noisy experimental music pipeline is VERY real :D it kinda undercuts the boomer-ness of classical music.
@Watchman_5 @FDsignifier Blur are so underrated, their ehola catalogue is fantastic and Think Tank was massively underlooked! Also yay 65dos!! :D pleasantly surprised to see them get another shout out here. Go see em live if you get the chance, they're blisteringly good.
@FDsignifier Genres are difficult so here's some bands I love: 65daysofstatic, Radiohead, Clipping, black midi, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Lightning bolt, Lingua Ignota, Have a Nice Life, Swans, G!YBE, Death Grips and Gazelle twin. Mix of generally noisy stuff I guess!
@XxLizziexX108@ArielleDundas Same. I really struggle not to be bitter about it. How can I forgive them when they don't even see the problem? And educating them is exhausting because they almost never do the work to educate themselves.
