im not moaning dude. Reignited would of brought a wave of new players to play the game, to play with.. everyone doing content at the same time, it isnt that hard to understand. My reasons for wanting it to happen are selfish i understand but it doesnt change my opinion. Im interested in how you think they will bring in that new wave now?

Problem is leagues is only for a short period. I want rs3 to become my new main mmo which would mean I need to find players interested in doing the content I would be progressing toward. Im not giving up and I still hold out hope, hopefully ill be able to find some people through twitch or something 🙏

I think the comments on the post speak for themselves. Personally speaking after making an account it is lonely as fuck. Nobody to go through older content with as all I see is maxed people with 0 intrest in it so im gona end up hitting a brick wall on content that requires a group whereas reignited would of brought all of that content back to life for everyone to enjoy again, all on a level playing foot

Unfortunately I wouldn't know, I dont even know what KK is. Im brand new to rs3 after quitting on eoc and then grinding osrs since its release. I've made an account and committed to getting into the game but Im literally coming from a brand new perspective and have no idea in which direction I should be going, content I should be focusing on or even a group of similar players like me to play with, reignited would of brought players like me into the game and I could of had people to learn with. Right now I just see maxed accounts doing their own thing so im a little worried when it comes to me doing group content and having nobody to do it with

I made an account 4 days ago, im yet to run into anybody new or even around my level unfortunately but im holding out hope. Lots to grind and hopefully ill find someone or a group to enjoy it with! Dont get me wrong I'm all for rs3 being a huge success as the game looks and feels amazing and i want to enjoy it for a long time to come but I think the 'veterans' have seriously shot themselves in the foot here as this had the gaming world intrigued and now there is no answer to reignite the dying player base, sad to see although im holding out hope

Was never about fresh eco for me, I just wanted people to play with.. I made an account and sure im gona stick it out but damn its lonely being on a 25 year old game when youre brand new. Leaning on my osrs experience but coming to content nobody else is doing and having to learn and push it all on my own because everyone else logged in is maxed and chasing other things. Having people all starting fresh and progressing together and going through older content would of been a huge W for the game and even if it only retained 20% of the players after the hype died is a win, the problem is nobody new is trying the game and this was the answer but now its being left in oblivion with no fix and a big dark cloud over the game again

A game being just supported isn't a very fun MMO, the big issue is the fact there is a huge decline in players, lowest ever player count in 25+ years. No new players and if there is they have little to no reason to stick around when all the content is retired by the current player base who only chase clues and achievements

Yeah valid point, personally idc about hiscores or mtx. Would of been nice to have a new wave of players all doing the same things at the same time though whereas right now I have to grind old content on my own with nobody else interested in doing it as theyre busy chasing achievements and other max content. I think binning the idea is a massive L for rs3 personally and maybe a rework could of been a better solution as the player base in its current state is at an all time low since runescapes release which is saying A LOT and is in a steady decline sadly

Streaming platforms would of been flooded with creators on reignited kind of lighting the way for newer players, its a snowball effect. Try find me a 2026 guide for runescape3 anywhere that details how to make meaningful progression, there isn't one, ive looked. Its people putting guides on for existing players that require you to have the knowledge of already playing the game

Thats fine, but id be able to witness first hand what those players were doing, where they were going and how theyre progressing. You're missing the point, right now I log in and im lost, others are doing achievements and clues, nobody wants to help or even cares. There will always be people that go OTT and smoke the competition, I was never planning to be a hiscores competitor, but being able to speak to people around the same level and figure things out and copy what they were doing would of been great for new players. Go make a blind new account for yourself right now and try find someone to do content with
