🚨 🇩🇪 : A driver plowed his car into a Berlin crowd, killing 2 and injuring 6, including a 16-year-old girl in critical condition, in the latest German incident

A car dirver crashed into a crowd on a Berlin pavement, injuring at least six people, including a critically injured 16-year-old girl, and killing two. The vehicle sped up, lost control, and trapped one person underneath, who is now being treated for severe injuries. German authorities are investigating whether it was an accident or an attack.

The Berlin Fire Department declared a "mass casualty incident," deploying a rescue helicopter, 60 firefighters, and 22 large vehicles to manage the situation. Authorities are on the scene, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident.

This marks Germany’s third public car crash in just a few weeks. The country has been on edge following a series of reported terror attacks, with seven occurring in the last 10 months. Two weeks ago, a similar incident in Mannheim saw a black car plow into locals, leaving two dead and 14 injured.

Eine 14J. soll gestern gegen 22:30 Uhr in #Niederschöneweide von einer Personengruppe aufgefordert worden sein, sich auf den Boden zu knien und einer bislang Unbekannten Hände und Füße zu küssen.
Beim Küssen der Füße soll die Unbekannte der 14J. ins Gesicht getreten haben. Die anderen Jugendlichen sollen das Mädchen dann auch getreten und geschlagen haben. Anschließend klauten sie ihr das Handy und warfen es in die Spree.
Eine Person aus der Gruppe soll dies mit ihrem Handy gefilmt haben.
