This is a manipulative strawman. No one said identity requires applause or immunity from questions. What we reject is the idea that white identity must come with guilt attached. No other group is told their heritage is valid only if they acknowledge inherited wrongdoing.

This assumes legacy is a package deal. It’s not. Pride in past achievements is about inspiration, not moral accounting. You don’t have to disown the past to reject its sins. And no other race is expected to treat history as an uneditable chain around their neck. The only people told they must carry “honest” (read: shame-laden) legacy are whites.

You’re confusing pride with power. You don’t need to be “accountable” for things you didn’t do. That’s not how pride works. We celebrate ancestors for what they accomplished, not because we need applause, but because legacy matters. Calling that “denial” is just another attempt to shame pride out of white people.

You flipped the roles. It’s not whites demanding to be free of responsibility — it’s others demanding we carry a burden they never place on themselves. When you’re the only group expected to repent endlessly for history, that’s not “responsibility;” that’s exploitation.

Your entire framework is built on selective morality. You cloak ideological guilt-tripping in the language of “honesty” and “responsibility” to make it sound noble.
