Do you shy away from exercising outside during the hot summer months? Going for an early morning run, lower intensity workouts (walking or hiking) on shaded paths, wearing light coloured breathable fabrics and cooling neck wraps can all help you.
Itโs officially summer! What do you have planned? A beach trip, family reunion, vacation/holiday, hiking or camping? Summer is the perfect opportunity to spend time outdoors, visit friends and family, and try something new. I personally love beginning a new routine each season.
Do you waste a lot of food? FIFO stands for First In, First Out and means use the oldest produce first. You can place at the front in the fridge to help you. This will help you be mindful of what to use first and reduce food waste in your home, plus it will save you money.
Have you considered how much your attitude dictates your food choices? When you're feeling happy and content, you're more likely to choose healthy foods. There are a lot of things we cannot control in life, but our mood is one thing we can work on daily to improve.
How often do you "clear clutter" on your phone? A decluttered inbox, tidied up desktop and an organized phone create a less chaotic mind, and lower stress and anxiety. Organize apps into folders and delete apps you aren't using. You'd be amazed at how much lighter you feel.
Happy #GlobalRunningDay
Running intervals can burn up to three times as many calories & help weight loss. If youโre a new runner itโs good news because youโre probably walking at times anyway!
Have you heard about the celery juice trend? The effects are said to be incredible, increasing energy, decreasing inflammation, lifting the brain fog, etc. I personally juice celery, cucumber, 1/4 apple and throw in herbs and veggies depending on what is in the fridge.
Do you use a scale? The number staring back doesn't define you nor is it the be all measure of your health. I've even seen stubborn weight drop off after ditching the scale because the stress levels were lowered and the body reacted well releasing the weight it was holding.
If you're dwelling on the past, stuck in regret and guilt, or anticipating the future, lost in worry and anxiety, then cultivating mindfulness could be beneficial, creating relaxation for your heart health & sanity for your brain! Try these exercises: https://t.co/8gS9BdWnwL
