Husband, Father, Grandfather, and sometime golfer. Ex-Government worker and prior military officer. Now retired and...LOVING IT! I don’t DM so please don’t ask.
Celebrating Stan Laurel....#BOTD June 16, 1890....shown here in a lovely bit of film with his look-a-like father Stanley Jefferson... Lot of love in those two big smiles....
The best TV show of the 1960's according to me is Star Trek.
This show didn't dazzle you with a bunch of special effects, it was the terrific writing and acting that made this show great.
The crew of the Enterprise is my favorite 60’s show.
Happy Captain Picard Day!
"The first duty of every Starfleet officer is to the truth." Few captains embodied that better than Jean-Luc Picard — diplomat, explorer, scholar, and one of science fiction's greatest leaders.

Raquel Welch on wearing the iconic bikini in "One Million Years B.C." (1966) & the important advice given by James Stewart:
"I don’t do much in "One Million Years B.C." (1966) except run around in this outfit! I’m often asked if I get sick of talking about that bikini. But the truth is, I don’t. It was a major event in my life so why not talk about it?
Almost every day I get copies of the photo sent to me for an autograph. I must have looked at that photo one million times. I remember James Stewart telling me a long time ago never to avoid your fans or the things that your fans like about you. It was good advice.
We had several doubles of the bikini because when it got wet you couldn’t wear it the right way again. Nothing really happened to it. I have the ones that were left over, the backups."
