🚨 JUST IN from @FabrizioRomano:
Arsenal have agreed all details of personal terms with Bruno Guimarães and new official bid will follow. 🇧🇷
Arsenal to offer £70m, Newcastle expect to reject it but Arsenal feel they can still get it done. 🤝
Arteta, pushing: he wants Bruno. ⚡️
I don’t understand Arsenal sometimes
Newcastle wants 80mil which I feel is quite reasonable for Guimaraes in this market and I feel we need him badly it’s just that profile we need in the midfield, why can’t we just go all out and stop wasting time
Arsenal to make £70million offer for Newcastle captain Bruno Guimaraes. Brazil international viewed as a key midfield target but #AFC unwilling to overpay in inflated market. https://t.co/0MhatBOfi7
You are missing the point
If we had already been told the price
Why didn’t we just agree before the World Cup or during the World Cup
We just are too slow to close things off
You have paid told a price
Meet the amount or move on from the target
Not wait so much time on it
So let me get this straight…
• Rogers wanted Arsenal.
• His family wanted Arsenal.
• Arteta met him face-to-face.
• Arsenal were prepared to go up to £100m.
• Villa moved the goalposts after the market exploded.
And people are calling this a “failed pursuit”? Sometimes the selling club simply refuses to sell. Arsenal aren’t everyone’s doormat anymore.
@Sir_Alex_Osho I know
With the way the transfer is going
Since everyone is getting overpriced
Why can’t we do the same thing
Several team will come for him
- Arsenal maintain strong interest in Konsa. Lacroix interest cooled a while back after I reported it.
- The club also held interest in Jacobo Ramon but Como have no intention to sell given their UCL exploits
- Newcastle remain firm on their valuation of Bruno (80-85m minimum)
- Martinelli is for sale.
- Arsenal were told 80-100m gets it done for Morgan during May-June time. This was relayed to Berta via agents. Anderson deal changed Villa’s valuation completely. Thereafter, Arsenal verbally offered 80m. They were willing to go to 100m max but the valuation had changed because the Anderson and Tonali deals had dictated the market by this point. Morgan and his family were fully set on Arsenal. Face to face meeting with Mikel now reported via major journalists too.
The season is starting soon and we have not sorted anything regarding transfers, this is certainly not how a big club move considering the fact we just won the league fingers crossed let’s see how things go

This is what you get for always been slow to secure a deal this deal should have been sorted before the World Cup or during the World Cup same thing man city did. We are also very slow with the way we handle our deals
It’s irritating and very annoying
