Pemberton's People in MI6 included heroes and rogues like Churchill's bodyguard, an SAS colonel who tried to unseat a UK Prime Minister, a British brigadier who tried to join the Mujahideen, a major whose CV advertised his silent killing skills etc. See https://t.co/wJ5eSMTdVI
Is the UK myopic? Has social media driven its politicians to setting short-sighted short term goals? It's all unsustainable. What's the ridiculous rush to appoint Andy Burnham as Prime Minister?
The mantra now seems to be that if your Prime Minister can't deliver his/her manifesto within days of his/her appointment then he/she should be sacked! No wonder we have had seven Prime Ministers in less than a decade. Mind you, some of them should never have been appointed in the first place. One can't help oneself believing that most Members of Parliament more concerned about their bank accounts than the nation's welfare.
As for Andy Burnham, you would have thought that after the farce concerning Mandelson and Epstein a bit of due diligence would be useful before and not after his coronation as Prime Minister.
A quick review of his wife's financial interests shows that at the least, questions should be asked about conflicts of interest and maybe more besides. We would start with his wife's alleged and/or recorded connections with Be.EV Limited, Iduna Development Co Limited, Sky EV Charging Holdco Limited and Deep Green Technologies Ltd. By the way, just to complicate matters his Dutch wife uses her maiden name, Marie-France van Heel.
Then there are other issues including LGBTQ ...
Worth a quick watch ... https://t.co/EfooYhNXK1 ... and the fact based quasi-autobiographical spy thriller "Beyond Enkription" is available in eBook, paperback and hardback on Amazon worldwide with the audiobook being available free on Amazon USA or at https://t.co/JZysjkmQLH.

If you want to know more about Bill Fairclough, the “Career Spy”, the Intelligence Agency FaireSansDire, MI6’s Pemberton’s People and TheBurlingtonFiles visit our advert-free website at https://t.co/Z3zlOFCI2a. It's a bit like reading "Tales of The Unexpected". The website is reminiscent of an espionage museum without an admission fee ... and no adverts. You will soon be immersed in a whole new world which you won't want to exit.
If you’ve got time, have a look at the book Beyond Enkription, the first of six espionage novels in TheBurlingtonFiles series based on Bill Fairclough’s life. It's available from most posh bookshops. It's free at most libraries, free on Borrowbox and at Amazon the eBook is inexpensive and may be free for some subscribers. It’s a noir fact based spy thriller that may shock you.
What is interesting is that this book is apparently mandatory reading in some countries’ intelligence agencies' induction programs. Why? Maybe because the book is not only realistic but has been heralded by those who should know as “being up there with My Silent War by Kim Philby and No Other Choice by George Blake”.
It is an enthralling read as long as you don’t expect fictional agents like Ian Fleming's incredible 007 to save the world or John le Carré’s couch potato yet illustrious Smiley to send you to sleep with his delicate diction, sophisticated syntax and placid plots! If you have any questions please feel free to ask them.
Best wishes - all at TheBurlingtonFiles
