@OfficialFPL A low pass deflected in by defender is an OG and an assist even though that was surely not the intention of the pass, and a cross that all players miss, that bounces to a player arriving late from the other side who scored isn’t either the intended target, but still an assist.

@OfficialFPL “Intended target” HAS TO GO as a criteria for an assist. It’s sooo subjective, also there isn’t always a designated intended target. Sometimes a cross or hard pass is made in the general direction of play in an attack.
