You are stuck in your monotonous, boring lifestyle because you dont want to change it
The idea of doing something great that would change your lifestyle would get built up either through a series of insults and downfalls or a series of smaller achievements.
Think about it.
You don’t have to explain your boundaries to people who repeatedly cross them.
That’s not “miscommunication.”
That’s a pattern.
And you’re allowed to walk away mid-sentence.
Some of your “weird” behaviors are actually trauma strategies that kept you alive.
The overexplaining. The scanning faces. The silence when overwhelmed.
Your body is brilliant. Don’t shame what it learned to do.
"Lazy" is the word people use when they don’t understand burnout, ADHD, or depression.
You’re not lazy.
You’re stuck in a brain that’s doing its best with zero fuel and too much noise.
It Wasn’t “Strict Parenting.” It Was Emotional Neglect.
If you’re still afraid to speak up, freeze when someone’s upset, or apologize for existing…
That wasn’t “discipline.”
That was fear-based obedience.
And no, you didn’t deserve to grow up that way.

Trauma Responses That Get Mistaken for Personality
– Overthinking: safety mechanism
– People pleasing: fear response
– Isolation: nervous system freeze
– Rage: unprocessed grief
You’re not difficult. You’re adapting.
Give yourself the grace the world forgot to.

ADHD + Guilt = A Full-Time Battle
No one tells you how much guilt comes with ADHD.
Guilt for forgetting.
Guilt for being “too much.”
Guilt for the apology message that starts with “I’m so sorry I disappeared…”
You’re not too much. You’re just not designed for this pace.

Psych Students, You’re Not a Walking DSM
Sometimes I know the diagnosis before I even finish the sentence.
But that doesn’t mean I’m okay.
Knowing the theory doesn’t mean I’ve healed the wound.
Psych students—this field breaks you open before it teaches you how to help others
Why does the internet make us diagnose ourselves every other week? One day it’s ADHD, next day it’s avoidant attachment, next week it’s ‘main character syndrome.’ Maybe we don’t have all these issues—maybe we’re just exhausted.
The ‘clean girl aesthetic’ is cute until you realize it’s just perfectionism in beige. No one’s life looks like an untouched glass of lemon water 24/7.
We weren’t meant to process this much information every day. News, opinions, trauma dumps, strangers’ breakfast updates. No wonder we all feel mentally drained 24/7
