Before I became a student nurse, the one thing I was worried about was having to deal with vomit... but now, in my third year of my degree, I can honestly say that I wouldn’t rather be anywhere else, and it’s not to bad cleaning up sick after all 😂🎓🏥🌡

Witnessed another paediatric cardiac arrest and death today at placement. I can honestly say that a situation like that will never ever get better.

Yesterday during my shift I witnessed my first paediatric cardiac arrest and also my first patient death all within the space of an hour.
The parents were given a memory box and the beautiful baby was given her little teddy👼🏼🐻
