@SteelCityClaire@gravygreenhair Hey wait that’s me, you can’t target me like that.
My pennsyltucky hick hometown sucks so hard tho fr.
Still working on the “getting somewhere better” half but hey, so it goes.
@hyperdollia Yeah, American, to Knick something is a commonly understood word referencing any time a thing is cut only slightly, usually by accident. Shaving is a common example but it’s anything.
@Killdeerrr I’m very proficient at blocking dumb people and moving on without letting them take space in my brain, which is good because personally I’m the right kind of closeted trans person that I’ve been emotionally inconsolable any time I think about the stupid purple rabbit for weeks.
@PaulTassi I’ve pretty firmly disliked PvP my whole life despite many attempts to try it in various games both with and without friends, so the industry focusing so strongly on that for so long has really been a very alienating and frustrating experience.
@CenturialPlague@highelven It’s been my experience that the games themselves tend to contain little of the insanity in general, and it’s mostly a thing that exists under the surface for you to dig through.
@Capyio@RobertSecundus Streaming services are the things trying to convince me the decades of cable tv with 24 episodes a year never happened or aren’t possible to replicate for some reason, no idea how you got things so ass backwards you think this about the 8 episodes every 3 years era
@Byrdman@PaulTassi@Forbes I don’t understand why people keep saying this as if it’s not actually kinda the normal and obvious thing. The game was nearly ten years old, it came to an end, this is normal, and it’s normal to promote your next thing once the previous one ends. That’s expected behavior I think
@highelven Randomly learning stuff like this is one of the funniest things ever, consistently.
Elder scrolls also offers me this occasionally, you’ll be diving into things and all of a sudden you learn “oh, the sun isn’t real, cool”
