When it comes to sex, men act like they are in parallel with reality.
Nothing makes me laugh more than when a man who isn’t a virgin keeps insisting on marrying a virgin. You’ll understand the real meaning of ‘what goes around comes around.’
See, men who are virgins don’t really believe that the world is spoiled to the extent that finding a virgin woman is hard. So, they have no pressure; they find it easy to find women and settle.
And then these other men who have slept with all sorts of women believe that all women are the same. So, they are haunted by their insecurity. There is this dirt in their hearts that makes it hard for them to trust any woman. They live their whole lives haunted by ‘what ifs’ whenever they meet women they are finally willing to settle with.
—What if she’s sleeping around?
—What if she’s not a virgin? (This happens when they finally meet a woman who assures them she’s a virgin.)
—What if her exes are laughing at me?
Just so many what-ifs.
Perhaps, sometimes the price for sinning, especially without proper repentance, is a lifetime filled with an eternal lack of peace.
A CMD at a federal teaching hospital raised the accommodation fee for interns from 120k to 600k and introduced alumni fee of 30k.
Is this not an exploitation?
FACT CHECK:
The title "Nurse" is not for everyone. It is protected.
Walk into certain private clinics across Nigeria and ask the person treating you: "Can I see your NMCN license?" Watch what happens.
Some will show it without hesitation. They are Nurses. Some will make excuses. Some will say they left it at home. Some will not know what you are talking about. Those ones are not Nurses.
The title "Nurse" is not an informal label. It is not something you become by working in a hospital long enough, or by learning on the job, or by wearing scrubs every day. It is a legally protected professional title, and carrying it without authorization is illegal under Nigerian law.
What does it actually take to earn the title?
Training at an NMCN-accredited university (BNSc, 5 years) or College of Nursing Sciences (ND-HND, 4 years) and previously 3 years at a nursing school. Years of supervised clinical rotations. National licensing examinations. A registered NMCN license that must be renewed and verified. A unique RN Number tied to the individual by name.
That is what separates a Nurse from someone wearing scrubs or white uniform in a clinic.
Why should you care?
Because when the person treating you is unlicensed, there is no NMCN to hold them accountable if something goes wrong. There is no RN Number to trace. There is no professional standard they are bound by. There is no disciplinary body that can investigate. You are placing your life in the hands of someone the system does not even know exists.
Every year, Nigerians are treated by people who call themselves Nurses but hold no license. Some patients never discover this. Some discover it when it is too late.
How do you protect yourself?
Two things. Ask to see the NMCN license. Ask for the RN Number. Every real Nurse has both and can show you without hesitation. You can verify the RN Number on the NMCN website (https://t.co/GBwqUz7UUR).
If they cannot show you either, they are not a Nurse. No matter how many years they have worked in that clinic. No matter what uniform they wear. No matter what they call themselves.
The title "Nurse" was earned through training and a license. It is protected. Respect it. Verify it.
Licensed by the NMCN. Or not a Nurse. Simple.

Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome honestly makes way more sense than Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.
Because this condition was never just about “ovarian cysts” or fertility.
Women with PCOS are at higher risk for:
-type 2 diabetes
-heart disease
-fatty liver disease
-sleep apnea
-high blood pressure
Yet so many women are never properly counseled about these risks or referred for appropriate care early enough. As a cardiometabolic physician, I meet women in their 50s and 60s dealing with advanced disease who tell me:
“I wish someone had warned me earlier.”
We minimized PCOS by treating it like a niche reproductive issue instead of the systemic metabolic condition it often is.
We have spent years being told it is “just a period problem” while our skin, our weight, our mood, and our energy were all falling apart. Today, the medical world finally admitted you were right.
PCOS is now PMOS.
A lot of healthcare workers are functioning emotionally on autopilot.
People see the uniform, the professionalism, the calm responses… but they rarely see the emotional exhaustion behind it.
Showing up for patients while carrying your own stress quietly is not easy.
Some healthcare workers are not okay.
They just became good at hiding exhaustion while still doing their jobs.
Healthcare workers will understand this deeply.
In the spirit of Nurses Week, we stand in solidarity with our colleagues who are yet to receive their certificates and are facing limitations in practice because of it. We've trained, we've passed. We deserve our license and certificates without delay.

If people play with the title "pharmacy", same way you are playing with "nurse" here....
How will you feel ?.
Meanwhile.....you how volatile this platform is...in making a generalisation out of insinuations like this.
There is nothing wrong in just saying : patent medicine dealers.
If you shaa wan resort to subtle draggings and insults....i hope you are ready.

Nurses Week is here 🤍
If you usually call a nurse only when you have a problem or need medical advice…
This week, call them and send a gift too
Appreciation should not be emergency-based only 😂

Nigerians should celebrate midwives today
Nigeria has thousands of registered midwives, yet they are still not enough for a population of over 200 million people.
I saw this reality firsthand during my midwifery posting in Benin, some days we handled up to 10 deliveries. That’s how stretched things can be.
Midwives are the calm in chaos, the ones standing between safe delivery and complications.
They don’t just assist births, they save lives.
In many parts of Nigeria, they are the difference between life and death.
In many parts of Nigeria, they are the difference between life and death.
Celebrate midwives today. They deserve more than we give them 🤍
It was in 400L.
I was so excited for labour ward posting, I resumed earlier than necessary with my friend. First delivery prep, midwife in charge, and of course, I volunteered to assist. Gloves on, mask on… then I dropped it small to talk.
