Thailand has revised its visa exemption rules, cutting the maximum visa-free stay for eligible tourists from 60 days to 30 days.

Citizens of 60 countries and territories will be allowed to enter Thailand visa-free for tourism and stay for up to 30 days, while visitors from Seychelles and Mauritius will be allowed to stay for up to 15 days.

The new rules will take effect on 15 September 2026, 15 days after their publication in the Royal Gazette.
