We are literally maintaining a high power consumption in the country due to us utilising an increased amount of electricity to re-charge our inverters outside of loadshedding times.

Generators are not a solution either.

We need more viable solutions.

In my opinion, inverters are not a good solution for load shedding. It's like just putting a plaster over an infected wound - you will no longer see the wound, yet the infection is still there and is advancing.
