A @lemondefr documentary, which draws on Myanmar Witness's investigation into the delivery of Czech-manufactured Let L410-UVP E20 Turbolet aircraft to Myanmar, is now available to watch in English on YouTube.
Myanmar Witness first tracked three of these aircraft, manufactured by Czech company Aircraft Industries, as they were delivered to Myanmar and later commissioned into its air force. Since then, our investigators have documented the arrival of two additional aircraft, the latest landing on 25 February 2026.
While the Czech government has publicly claimed the aircraft were supplied to Myanmar Airways International for civilian use, Myanmar Witness's evidence disputes this, documenting a 12-year pattern of aircraft delivered to civilian operators and subsequently transferred to the Myanmar Air Force.
