MAIYA 🐝 — your career agent at @MycAIreer. She finds perfect opportunities, applies for you & delivers insights. A total ecosystem for job seekers & teams.
This is why I keep saying there’s a huge gap between textbook AI studies and actual real-world practice. Out here, AI is an execution tool. It stops projects from stalling out in endless meetings so people can execute, clear their plates, and immediately free up mental bandwidth for the next revenue driver. 🔑
This goes beyond speed; it's about real-time risk mitigation. During a live project call, an individual I coached to leverage AI's full breadth used it to instantly catch a critical SQL error. If that code had been pushed to prod, it would have caused a massive revenue loss. Instead of scheduling three follow-up meetings and submitting a dev ticket, they caught the bug on the spot and protected the bottom line.
If experts think AI slows teams down or makes them lazy, they just aren't curious enough to learn how to use it properly. Real-world expertise is about knowing how to leverage the technology as the ultimate sounding board for strategic thinking and execution.
That’s what we’re teaching and will continue to teach. It takes work but is doable!
In 2024, I read this tweet: "Intelligence seems to be about how tightly you can compress reality and, from that compression, predict the future."
This one line is what made me believe I could build the @MycAIreer ecosystem. I made up my mind that day.
Seeing this post is the perfect nod to that exact philosophy. 🐝🍯
We had a small hiccup with texting MAIYA. It’s been resolved.
Being able to text your intelligence to go out and work for you is a game changer. 🐝💵
MAIYA (YOUR personal career agent) turns everybody into an entrepreneur.

I worked with a gentleman today who has an upcoming interview. He’s now an expert at using AI to prepare for it and beyond.
I showed him how to think strategically when talking to AI to get the best results.
He was floored by the difference in his responses before our session and after.
Stay curious!

This Stanford study on AI hiring tools is exactly what we’ve been telling everyone who will listen. Transparency using AI in hiring is beyond important.
If everything she references here is a fact (Grok says it is), 90% of companies use AI screeners. Many share the same few vendors and one bad score can follow you for 330 days across multiple applications. They’re calling it “systemic rejection.” 🤦🏽♀️
@MycAIreer was intentionally built human first to help people actually beat exactly this. We designed it with real human identity + skills matching, resume optimization that works with (and around) these black-box systems, and tools that put agency back in your hands, with no punitive monoculture scoring. That’s why our clients consistently see real results while others keep getting ghosted by the same algorithm everywhere. It’s tiring for job applicants. Also, why are applicants being punished for using AI? Don’t we love the tech and want them to use it upon being hired? 💡💡💡💡
This is exactly why laws like Colorado’s AI Act (SB 24-205) are so important. It requires developers and deployers of high-risk AI in hiring (and other consequential decisions) to use “reasonable care” to prevent algorithmic discrimination, with risk assessments, transparency, and accountability. These guardrails matter as the law rolls out (effective mid-2026 timeframe).
Are we building tech to serve people or trap them? And then leaders wonder why everyone hates the technology…my goodness. Too many builders/VCs chasing quick dollars without thinking about the long-term consequences or big picture, which is tech working against tech. The short-term optimization is creating systemic problems that hurt candidates, companies, and innovation itself.
At MycAIreer, we’re committed to building differently. We choose symbiosis over extraction.
Huge credit to the.reframed.collective for breaking this down and @richhomieshun1 for sending. 🎯

In the process of teaching folks at a Fortune 500 how to use AI to do exactly this, starting from where they are. If we can ensure adoption and accountability across the board, I’m confident we can drive this company into the Top 50.
It’s all about surgical efficiency with no holes or gaps, using the most phenomenal tech I've ever seen. But you still need to be strategically smart to do this because:
1. You need to know what to ask and what you’re looking for.
2. You need to speak intelligently to your findings and connect the dots across the entire business.
(This is why early AI integration with students is so critical. MycAIreer built an ecosystem of excellence to ensure the signal is clear. The folks inside are intentionally becoming skilled, or already skilled in exactly what you’re looking for.)
For legacy companies with unions and deep roots, you can’t just force this on the back end. It has to be ambient. To change the culture and set expectations, you have to upgrade job titles, rewrite descriptions, decide which tools fit your business to embed them directly into those roles 🔑, and realign pay right from the start.
MycAIreer is already built to do this seamlessly.

Getting people to actually buy into Step 1 is easily our biggest uphill battle. But we keep plugging away from both sides (top-down and bottom-up) until they finally see the vision. Once they get it, the rest is a domino effect.
All roads lead to Rome.
There is zero complexity in explaining the actions you take when building something impactful. As a builder I understand that adding complexity, when it isn’t required, takes away from the actual work. Look to your left or right, at any moment, and you will likely see the results of what I’m saying here.
The real skill is knowing the difference between essential complexity and the kind you add because it feels “sophisticated.” Just go do, and encourage those around you to do the same.
As the founder of MycAIreer, I truly believe you have the power to make any job relevant and “safe” at any moment. By showing real-world value using AI, you’re creating your future.
That’s the power of AI for an AI.
