@Gbuck1968 They make muslim women show their faces, which is against their religion, for security reasons at airports and on their passport. Should this not be treated the same? Safety concerns are safety concerns no matter your religion.
Maybe we should all start carrying a kirpan then. If they ask us to prove our religion we tell them we're sikh, I don't believe they're allowed to question your religion are they???
BREAKING:
Keir Starmer says he won’t remove the exemption which allows Sikhs to carry large ceremonial knives on them.
Meanwhile, English women are being prosecuted for carrying regular pepper spray on them when out on the streets at night
🇬🇧 This is the knife that Vickrum Digwa used to kill Henry Nowak
He said he carried it as part of his Sikh faith
Sikhs in the UK are allowed to carry knives called Kirpans, but for regular Brits, if they carry a knife the same size, they face a prison sentence
Baptized Sikhs say carrying the kirpan is a mandatory article of faith, and it's non-negotiable
However, the UAE introduced strict rules around carrying them, so many Sikhs residing in or traveling to the UAE opt to leave their kirpan at home or wear a symbolic miniature pendant.
It's time for the UK to do the same
Police are more interested in what people say than do. Report racism and they're on it. Report the crimes blighting ordinary communities and you'll wait weeks.
Deaths in custody, rising crime, victims being ignored. Why is trust collapsing?
The answer is staring us in the face.
Henry Nowak should not have died in the way he did. Religious traditions matters, but so does public safety. Carrying a blade in public is illegal for most people, so is it reasonable to ask if religious exemptions should still exist? That debate isn't racism, it's public policy
Why am I being targeted with ads for stuff I ALREADY bought?? Like babe I own it, I’m not subscribing to it monthly 😭 unless it plans to break itself and needs replaced, leave me alone. I’m loyal but not “buy it twice” loyal.
“People should be able to… enjoy a pint of beer, take their kids to the football, but they can’t”
Businessman and TV personality Tom Skinner says people have “no money” despite working “every hour”, and Labour are “smacking” businesses when they need “more support”

Can’t recruit parking attendants? That’s the city politely saying “we’re awright, cheers.”
Abolish the lot and let survival of the fittest sort Sauchiehall Street. 🚗
Your move, Glasgow City Council.

🚨 £500,000,000 MORE FOR UKRAINE — NO QUESTIONS ASKED
Another half-billion pounds.
That’s £500,000,000 of British taxpayers’ money — announced in seconds — for “urgent air defence” in Ukraine.
When was the last time you saw a detailed breakdown of where the previous billions went?
When was the last time Parliament debated outcomes instead of headlines?
When was the last time the public got transparency on results, oversight, or measurable impact?
We are told:
It’s urgent.
It’s necessary.
It’s strategic.
But we are not shown:
• A clear audit trail
• A full spending report
• A defined endgame
Meanwhile, at home:
Energy bills are crushing families.
Public services are stretched.
Infrastructure is crumbling.
Foreign aid decisions move at lightning speed.
Domestic relief moves at glacial speed.
You don’t have to oppose Ukraine to ask questions.
You don’t have to side with Russia to demand accountability.
Half a billion pounds is not spare change.
It’s your money.
And transparency should not be optional.
