After spending the early part of the week sharing "i ain't reading all that bro" memes, I wrote a stupidly massive thread about everything important I know about trading.
It's really good though.
So, I made it an article here, which is easier to read.

i think everyone focusing on # of active token/nft wallets and lack of retail particip is missing the point
"whales decide the bottom"
retail can buy our coins higher, driving force of a crypto rally is "fomo that someone dumber than u is making $", its as dumb as etf=buy imho

The first Anon Trader chapter is now available!
Don't forget to leave a comment and a rate it will help us with the webtoon algorithm.
Let the fundings expert that I am explain all this to you, before big names with reflinks (who have never been profitable in their lives) come and explain shit to you.
The market has been taken apart by bull liquidations (long positions). When a long position is closed, it's a sell order,
Knowing this information, your question ( if you have a minimum of 10 IQ ) " but marusha, it means that the price of derivatives will be lower than the spot price, because big liquidation days represent a lot of leverage in the system ".
Exactly Anon! You've got it right, when there's too much leverage in the system, there'll be a lot of liquidation, so the dislocation will be much greater than normal,
Which explains why the fundings are negative the bulls are the ones who created such a negative fundings, it wouldn't represent people who are short at all.
theres a constant soft arb between quarterlies vs perp contract funding and between premium of calls vs puts (2 biggest products in dis mkt)
which means these numbers are a rough summary of how much leverage mkt is taking
in 21 these went as high as >50%, and backward after ftx
cat mkt insight:
the easiest and laziest way to gauge how much leverage there is in the market - is to simply take a look at how much higher, or lower, quarterlies futures are trading at
high cap > mid cap > low cap > shitcoin
That the rotation 2017 people repeat to me since i've join CT,
Reality is far away from it tbh, it's just a matter of liquidity
we done BTC ( high cap ) > shitcoin( Recent on-chain )
Liquidity doesn't have a logic road, it's a mess
Finished writing a full guide on pairs trading, specifically finding great portfolios. It’s a pretty comprehensive dive into the topic.
Pairs trading is an area I worked on for a while, but long enough ago that I’m happy to share my insights on it
