What a passionate piece of writing from local 4th Circuit Judge John Guy about always living in the moment, staying present and getting out and - as the kids say these days - "touching grass!"
Give his full commentary in the April Jax Bar Bulletin a read!

Check out this great profile of longtime JBA member Steve Pajcic of Jax law firm @Pajcic_Pajcic! Steve's firm celebrated 50 years in biz in 2024 after he and his brothers decided to go into private practice together and founded Pajcic & Pajcic in 1974.

Congrats to Tampa attorney Paige Greenlee, who will serve as Florida Bar President-elect after JBA member Michael Fox Orr takes over as the new Florida Bar President in June of this year.
We look forward to working with you, Paige!
Tampa civil litigator and eight-year veteran member of The Florida Bar Board of Governors Paige Greenlee has become the President-Elect Designate of The Florida Bar.
βIβm excited, Iβm proud of the campaign that I ran, and I am humbled by the support that I received across the state,β she said. βI know I have a lot of responsibility ahead, responsibility that comes with the confidence that members of the Bar have in me, and I donβt take that lightly.β
In her campaign, she stressed her 20 years of professional service, which included stints as president of the Barβs Young Lawyers Division and the Hillsborough County Bar Association. A six-year member of the Executive Committee, Greenlee has chaired or co-chaired other key board committees, including Disciplinary Review, Communications, Technology, and Program Evaluation.
Congratulations, Paige! Looking forward to your leadership! π
