@caramelcolored @MissZephyra I don't care *why* they oppressed people. The fact of the matter is that women oppressed men for 100's of years, shamelessly.
@caramelcolored @MissZephyra That's interesting, I seem to recall women owning, raping and beating slaves for 100's of years but I guess you think slavery never happened?
@hollowearthterf@phemoid "mens greater willingness to use women they are not really attracted to for sex" Why is it considered "using" women to have sex with them? If I go get a pick up game of basketball at the gym am I "using" those men? Is it because you have some religious puritanical view of sex?
@Outsider_LTF@mcuban@anchor_protocol Are you talking about " I go to https://t.co/AQWVSW31sd where I have 10k in ETH."? Because eth is a cryptocurrency and is available on other block chains including polygon.
@Outsider_LTF@mcuban@anchor_protocol How do you know he's talking about eth? The Tweet he's responding too asks for a legitimate use case for dApps and he uses Aave as an example, which is multichain.
@Dashmeet@mcuban @M1_Finance M1 Finance is a great example of how Traditional Finance can do this right and I currently have a loan with them myself, but I still personally use Aave. You can borrow against crypto, you don't have to pay interest every month, and you don't need to set up an account.
@TheMavsGuy@mcuban It's true even if $ETH doesn't retain value, what do you mean? I can borrow on Aave right now. Doesn't matter what you think the value is, it only matters what Aave thinks the value is.
@blykmyk44@mcuban I think you're grossly underestimating how much easier Aave is to use than banks. There is no amount of "streamlining" banks can do to compete. For one thing, you don't have to pay interest every month when you borrow on Aave. Banks have to pay employees.
@Outsider_LTF@mcuban@anchor_protocol I love Terra but fyi, Aave is on more chains than just eth. Aave on Polygon for example is way cheaper than Terra.
@im_prajesh @mcuban If ETH drops over night and your position is liquidated then Aave sells your collateral. That's it. You still have the money you borrowed which would likely be equivalent to the newly crashed price of Ethereum if not higher. What is there to worry about?
Chapter 2: Upon arrival on Mars, report to Basecamp. There, youβll be allotted a Station and full access to the Red Bank where you can deposit into or borrow from Marsβ smart contracts at will. Life is pleasant, but something greater beckons...
