@kingswood10@wixelain@WallStreetMav@elonmusk Countries with a greater population, also have more people who can count votes. Even if we didn't have early voting in Australia, they still would not have an issue counting it all on election night
@blwall12@OldSchoolRS Pretty much yeah, they would have people 'on-call' for incidents if they arise outside of business hours.
In the software world, there are 2 very common guidelines relevant to this
A) Never release on a friday
B) Try to release as early into the business day as possible
@blwall12@OldSchoolRS As an australian I get the frustration, but it is probably the best time when taking all countries into consideration. Relatively small player count compared to the rest of the world. It also lets them do this at the start of business hours so their employees arent doing overtime
