Ranked changes coming in Season 26 Split 2 🔥

▫ Masters will match with Masters/D1 first, slowly opening to more Diamond ranks
▫ Masters won’t match with Platinum or lower
▫ Matchmaking rules will adjust based on season population (strict when more players are online, looser when few)

We’ve seen your concerns regarding drop ship height for pre-determined drop zones in @PlayApex Ranked. We initially raised the height to make the drop less disorienting, give players a moment to take in their surroundings, and add flexibility in choosing where to land.

However, that flexibility also meant multiple teams could be funneled into the same POIs, leading then to a similar chaotic start as the regular drop method that we were trying to alleviate.

To address this, we’ll be testing a version that matches the ALGS drop ship height. Our goal is to ensure Ranked matches feel more competitive. Thanks as always for your continued feedback!

We just pushed a few updates live to @PlayApex, here’s what changed:

Arenas Duels
• Player Highlight only during countdown
• Faster mode timing and duel transitions

Devotion LMG
• Removed improved scaling from high-tier barrels and stocks
• Mag size reduced to 48 (was 52)

EVA-8
• Damage per pellet increased to 7 (was 6)
• Reduced rate of fire
• Purple and Gold bolts now match other shotguns
