@greenZoink@hyunagalx@muppettrek Not everybody feels the need to get a new phone every goddamn year. If it works, it works. Mine is on it's fourth year
this is the biggest thing. a girl at my office got fired just before she was supposed to go from temp to FT and she was always doing her make up at her desk and walking around talking to other people because she finished her work early. just no common sense at all
@Zxoratheexplora@RubyQuartzVsr Twitter is not a palce for nuanced conversations unfortunately. They just want to dunk on the person opposing them for the adrenaline of it
@Zxoratheexplora@RubyQuartzVsr Not to mention the people infront of you don't see you as "human" in the first place. They just want to work you as much as they can. Why respect this kind of mindset? If I'm going to be taken advantage of why should I care for their rules?
@Zxoratheexplora@RubyQuartzVsr Like these job etiquettes are still very new concepts, how come it is seen so weird to go against them? I still follow general rules when I look for interviews (because money is a problem), but it's not absurd to me that people question and don't follow these things
@scabbyscribe56 There's a reason earlier civilizations assigned tasks to a lot of people and also the reason we started governments. We need to work together as it's not easy to do this kind of job only by yourself
@ShiroganeAlex@APupNamedAstro@yuyu197100 When it should be "I shouldn't take the patients struggle to heart and I should distance my emotions, but still treat them as best as I can as they are a life at the end of the day"
@ShiroganeAlex@APupNamedAstro@yuyu197100 I feel like somewhere along the line a lot of medical workers get the "you shouldn't feel emotional over every patient" part very backwards. The point of that was to not get yourself burntout from the job, but they take it as "I won't give any fucks to the patient"
We are social animals. It's not absurd, nor is it wrong for someone to want their art to be seen. I do agree that social media has skewed peoples perception of "being popular" but the end goal being wanting to be seen is not a bad thing
@Alicia__Angela@himejoyshi Opression and privilege definitely has overlaps, and generally one doesn't negate the other. Being white or poc has it's own set of privileges/oppressions, while being cishet/gay-trans has another. If you throw religious pressure into this that's another layer of it
@dDaza1990@masterkevkev@RavensFlock1312 Lmao if you think im taking this as a good faith conversation and said that as fully meaning it then you are even more stupid. The US is governed exactly by people like him, no shit was going to happen to him. Hopefully more of this will happen
@dDaza1990@masterkevkev@RavensFlock1312 For the ones I listed? Any sensible person would atleast look the other way over his death if they think two seconds on what he was supporting, even if they don't support it outright. The answer is yes
@masterkevkev@RavensFlock1312 Oh, a pedophile one at that too. Don't forget that he said that he would force 9 year old niece to keep the baby if she got pregnant from rape. It's not hard to be a good person over him, just bare fucking minimum
