@JuliaHB1@Anniepop2027 Thatโs what taxes are FOR. So a child who has no access to cash can be given food at school to keep them going through the day. How do you expect children to learn and grow if they are hungry?!?!?
@Stagecoach_Ox Are you saying that drivers *should* turn away children if a card fails or they are 10p short? Or are you saying that drivers *should not* turn away children in those cases? How do you track the child to reclaim the 10p? Where are the claim forms?
@Stagecoach_Ox None of the cases are mine to report. You still have not addressed my point about policy. Are you stating that each child is at the mercy of the whims & attitude of the particular driver they have the misfortune to meet on the day when the bus machine fails to read their card?
@dlingenfelter@TaylorLorenz Iโm grateful that my initial 2020 tinnitus that has never gone away is the very low frequency constant deep note. I only hear it if Iโm in a quiet room by myself with no other noise.
The screeching discordant high pitch notes come & go with subsequent infections. Not nice stuff.
@Stagecoach_Ox In the event of an incident when a child was refused passage on a bus & then came to harm, have you sorted out ahead of time whose responsibility it will be if the child had a valid pass or card but the bus pass scan didnโt work, and the driver failed to show a duty of care????
@Stagecoach_Ox It is not sufficient to say you cannot investigate incidents without full information. You have made bus journeys inherently unsafe if you donโt have a policy of what to do in that situation and stick to it in your training and operation. Publicise it; do drivers know what to do?
@Stagecoach_Ox Your responsibility it to ensure that driver behaviour is corrected so that they do not endanger children by refusing them entry onto the buses.
Parents should be aware that they can report incidents, but you as a company should be making sure those incidents donโt occur at all.
@Stagecoach_Ox Yes, I understand that. Thatโs why I posted excerpts from the reports others made. Have you made it clear to your drivers that they are NOT allowed to leave young girls standing on their own in the dark if a payment card wonโt work or 10p. Or are drivers told TO DO exactly that?
