@amelia_tweetz What if we’ve been looking at this all wrong? Should employers who pay so little that FT workers qualify for government assistance be penalized? Should those making so little that they qualify for government assistance have to pay taxes? Maybe their employer should pay that, too
@SariArhoHavren Had no clue Europeans don’t use AC. Never gave it a thought. The heat and humidity get so high for so long where I live that mushrooms and fuzzy green moss can grow on the backside of wooden furniture. We won’t talk about the mold. I care about my health. I’ll keep the AC.
@BullBoss5 No… I have air conditioning, but when it’s not 90% humidity, I open the windows and let the fresh air move through the house. Screens are necessary because of mosquitoes. Careful climate control indoors improves air quality. Preventing mold is healthy. Hot and humid is a battle.
@mapleblooded@BHartranft Nope. People are stuck at work slaving away for the best hours of the day. We want sunshine in the evening to last long enough to enjoy it before we have to go to bed and do it all over again the next day.
@CourtneyHella I never notice but I do notice the glorious daylight lasting much much longer into my free time portion of my day. Darkness during my non-work hours is a huge drag.
