Make sure you know the teachers of the people you look up to.
Tragic mistakes, moral failing, oppression - all are theoretically possible from any person.
But if you know the one that they consider their teacher - their source of legitimacy and knowledge - you can take your concerns to that person and hope to stop any potential damage by having it addressed and with severe action taken if the indicating statements/behavior don't stop.
If someone doesn't have a teacher that is identified, don't take from them. It's a non-starter.
"Isnad is from the Deen, if it weren't for isnad, anyone could say whatever they wanted." Abdullah ibn Al Mubarak

A week after 100K voters in Michigan voted uncommitted. Months after several groups, predominantly Muslim and Arab launched Abandon Biden campigan across the country and days before Super Tuesday. The timing is notable.
"Don't forget us in your prayers." A Palestinian describing the tense situation in Khan Yunis as Israeli forces and airstrikes intensify, with reports of a siege on the city.
If you read this, read about a kid getting his arm amputated without anesthetic, and your response is simply to shrug and say ‘But Hamas…’ then you need to take a long hard look at yourself in the mirror.
Israel killed my friend, the drone camera operator so there will not be aerial footage to show the massive destruction on the main way in the middle area. Israel killed all the journalists with drones or intercepted and stole their drones as you saw before. But I’m trying to show you with my phone and camera. It’s all about destruction, it will take years to rebuild all of this. People are exhausted everyone is tired, we’ve lost a lot.
The Zionists are expressing anxiety and fear over a sticker on someone’s laptop
Meanwhile kids in #Gaza are washing their cloths with their tiny hands
Trying my best to keep it civil… not easy walllah

Today I choose to honor the real people of the year: the Journalists in Palestine. Their constant strength and courage in the midst of a genocide is something so admirable. They lose family and friends but never stop showing us what’s actually happening in Gaza. #freepalestine
