First American Nuclear’s decision to pursue a domestic HALEU deconversion and fuel fabrication facility is another sign that the U.S. nuclear buildout is extending beyond reactors into the broader fuel cycle.
The fuel supply chain is becoming part of reactor strategy: FANCO plans to develop its own HALEU fuel capability to support EAGL-1 and potentially other advanced reactor customers, with an NRC license application targeted for Q4 2027.

The numbers quoted in the Historical Resource Estimates section "26.6 Mlbs eU₃O₈ in 44.1 Mt at 171 ppm eU₃O₈" are a mistake that's being corrected. The Technical Report says "26.63 Mlbs eU₃O₈ in 48.95 Mt at 269 ppm eU₃O₈".

Now, Gem is back in the spotlight as part of Myriad’s Phase II drilling program.
