Reparations to Black American farmers needs to be addressed before we settle other claims but there’s no reason not to honor the treaties.

My generation created this art form & I observed firsthand its evolution from a teenage obsession to a global phenomena. The Soul Train generation gave birth to hiphop & Black Am teenagers fueled its rise globally .

@BlackPowerBA I went to rap parties in NYC during the 70s and this exactly mirrors my recollection, except there were no Jamaicans at the parties I attended in Harlem. The only other ethnic group involved early hiphop were Puerto Rican.

Carib ID wasn’t inclusive of Americans, but u say we the same except when u r Jamaican, which is very different from other islanders. Tall isn’t short! Black isn’t white! I’m not u ur not me!
