El caso Negreira se conoció públicamente el 15 de febrero de 2023. El 21 de febrero, apenas SEIS DÍAS después, remití como presidente de LALIGA un escrito a la UEFA sobre estos hechos, acompañado de un informe jurídico, documentación sobre los pagos y un dossier de prensa nacional e internacional.
Por tanto, es falso que LALIGA se limitara a personarse en la causa penal. Acudimos a la UEFA a los seis días de conocerse los hechos, otros tardan años, y meses en dimitir de la Junta Directiva de la RFEF,
Antes de construir otro relato sobre la supuesta inacción de LALIGA, convendría contrastar la información con LALIGA. Los documentos existen, tienen fecha y desmienten ese relato.

🚨 - The Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 National Team should face disciplinary action for violating Concacaf’s safety and security regulations. The host team failed to provide adequate security arrangements and properly control access to the stadium, resulting in inadequate protection for spectators.

Ticketing exceeded the stadium’s safe capacity, security personnel were unable to effectively control access and crowd movement, and some spectators sustained injuries as a result of the security failures.

We demand that CONCACAF conduct a thorough investigation into these incidents, impose the appropriate disciplinary sanctions and we require effective measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring at future matches.
