As a Nigerian, I find it absurd that since 2022, Peter Obi has been the only major front-runner relentlessly grilled, constantly interviewed, and forced to engage the public at every turn. Meanwhile, Atiku and Tinubu seem to glide by without facing anything close to the same scrutiny. What exactly is going on here? Do they believe they are too important to be questioned, or are their supporters simply more comfortable shielding them from accountability and public scrutiny?
Nobody hears from the president, who sits on high Mount Olympus and only graces Nigerians with carefully scripted appearances and distant press statements from Bayo Onanuga, as though leadership is a privilege to be admired from afar rather than a responsibility to be constantly examined. Atiku is no different, equally distant, equally insulated, and just as unwilling to submit himself to the kind of sustained, unscripted engagement that true leadership demands.
My Prime Minister, Carney, faces the press almost daily and endures relentless grilling from the opposition in Parliament on virtually every issue. That is what accountability looks like in a functioning democracy.
Tinubu, on the other hand, answers to no one.

How can a thriving woman look at everything surrounding Baba Ijesha and still decide, Yep, that’s my man?
An alleged child abuser, with evidence that has been publicly discussed for years? And people wonder why men don’t take our standards seriously. Bro, I’m genuinely baffled.
Letting 'repentant bandits' back into society while thousands of their victims are still traumatized is a slap in the face to the victims, their families, and Nigerians as a whole.
A lady with a 12yrs old daughter chose to marry & get pregnant for Baba Ijesa, same Baba Ijesa who was convicted for sexual assault against a 14yrs old girl.
Of all men in the world, you chose a pedophile as stepfather for your daughter?? Some of you ladies are smelling bastard!
@leigh_toy@deyola_a I think she is right, she posted the baby first before the video of baba ijesha. Lots of celebrities dropped their congratulations before they probably saw that video. She definitely did it on purpose
From the videos we saw, this lady and her late husband were being held with some other kidnapped victims.
Since you engaged the terrorists and they ran away, where are the other victims?
Now you can clearly see why some men are badly behaved.
It’s because there is always that one woman that will still give them food to eat.
My God. I am mortified 🫠🫠
@Ayodeji12044@ama_rachi_@Memnefer This woman has a 12 years old daughter. What are you talking about ? In a sane environment, he would never be allowed near a minor
Today is exactly one month since Borno & Oyo State schoolchildren were kidnapped! ONE WHOLE MONTH, & our children are not back!
They are eighty-one in number, including seven teachers. We lost a teacher in a beheading.
From public outcry to street protests. Then we move on. Please we shouldn’t forget them.
It’s the rainy season in Nigeria, they must be cold. There are mosquitoes, their immune system is not that strong. Then there is acute malnutrition otherwise called kwashiorkor.
There are waterborne diseases as well.
Diarrhea, malaria, acute malnutrition, etc. The children are dealing with all of these elements. Then there is the human factor — trauma in the form of constant trepidation. My paranoia is justified! They risk becoming child brides. Child marriage is not a thing to sweep under the rug.
Who is going to give them the closure they so desperately need? Closure is a psychological support to move on & achieve your life dreams.
I’m sure they have a bucket list, goals or things they want to achieve during their lifetime. I’m sure we have engineers, doctors, teachers, nurses, pilots, architects, etc among them.
This is their formative years. They shouldn’t miss out on a sheltered life; the promise of a better tomorrow. We shouldn’t forget them!
They stay in the bush so that politicians can soirée & party harder. Nigeria is the father that abandoned his children. Please remember them today & say a prayer for them. They remind us that Nigeria is a country of particular concern.
This is heartbreaking. This is solidarity. Children are praying for their friends to be rescued. A mother who is a teacher is crying for help. The significance of “May 15” is not lost on us.
They are our children dealing with adult problems. They shouldn’t become part of an ongoing statistics. I am only pleading.
At this point? Your silence will fail the children. PLEASE LEND YOUR VOICE TO THIS. 💔🙏
@dammiedammie35 This woman has to be the biggest fool in the world. This is why she fell off like madt and most of this celebrities stopped using her. She was the major stylist for iyabo ojo and mercy Aigbe o.. Nawa
Such foolishness
@NigeriaStories Are they trying to tell us she was the only one kidnapped by the terrorist, no other victims? Or is it that they were not worth saving?
Nobody is supporting Tinubu because he’s competent
Nobody is supporting Tinubu because he’s going to move this country forward
Nobody is supporting Tinubu because he has improved the economy
Nobody is supporting Tinubu because Nigeria has now become safe for people to live in and there’s no insecurity
Anyone you see supporting Tinubu is doing it because of :
1) Tribe (Yoruba Ronu)
2) Religion
3) What he stands to gain from Tinubu
4) Ego (I’m suffering but I’ll NEVER admit on Social media that Tinubu is the worst president of Nigeria)
5) Gig or PR from APC politicians
It’s 31days since Oyo children were taken.
It’s 31days since Oyo children were taken.
It’s 31days since Oyo children were taken.
It’s 31days since Oyo children were taken.
It’s 31days since Oyo children were taken.
Pls keep speaking up.
Pls share for the world to see this.
💔
Bola Tinubu is not a Yoruba President. You people can cry all you want. 😩
He is an APC President.
We do not all support APC, and we certainly do not all support the policies of his administration.
Stop acting as though criticism of Tinubu is criticism of the Yoruba people. It is not.
Many Yorubas oppose him. Many voted against him. Many of us will continue to criticize him and there’s nothing his supporters can do to stop us.
Political support is a choice, not an ethnic obligation.
In a Hausa interview with DW Hausa, Ishak Rabe Abubakar, son of the late Major General Rabe Abubakar (rtd.), disputed the Katsina State Government's claim that their father died from complications related to diabetes. According to him, the General died as a direct result of a snake bite while in the bandits' camp.
He also stated that their mother is still being held by the bandits, contrary to reports claiming that she had been released.
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
