Genetic genealogy strikes again. This time identifying Jack the Ripper, so it would seem.

A shawl from one of Ripper's victims was tested and the DNA went back to:

Aaron Kosminski

AK was always considered to be a possible suspect, but now there is DNA confirmation.

AK allegedly brutally murdered at least 5 women. His crimes were particularly heinous because he liked to remove entrails from his victims and disfigure them.

Another mystery solved via DNA.
