@annikakparker @WhoThat_One_Guy Let's not forget that in Dracula, widely considered the fictional vampire baseline, sunlight was only a minor inconvenience. I'm good with sunlight not being deadly.
However, I think that sparkling vampires are proof that just because an idea is original, doesn't mean it's good.
@annikakparker @AuthorElyseC In the books witches weren't even necessary. It was just lapis lazuli, and it didn't have to be a ring... Katherine had a necklace made, after taking her ring off, during the Renaissance.
@jojo_writesaway The rattle and clack of the wheels grinding against the rails and the piercing scream of the whistle as it signals its arrival into the station.
@ninjadustpub Rumiko Takahashi was solid for writing complex characters. I loved Ranma1/2.
Also, I'd say Aya from Ayashi No Ceres had a major transformation from bubbly high schooler to a woman fighting against her family for survival, when she finds out she's the reincarnation on an angel
@egdeaile_writer One of my old English teachers taught me an exercise that helps me get the words started. Set a timer for two minutes and just start writing whatever's in your head, even if it's word soup gibberish. The more you write, the more focused you'll become. See how you feel at the end.
