@mrbgilson I don’t think we need to cancel tests. I think we need to have aligned, rigorous, and varied assessments. This includes performance tasks, project based learning in addition to quizzes etc.

@MrFisherSays Many teachers are doing this. They are grading independent practice or exit tickets instead during class. When class is done- it’s done! It’s helped students with their grades and engagement.

@Maire_from_NJ Are these qualitative goals/ personal goals? I have teachers who are tracking each student’s average standards mastery but I doubt you are looking for that? It’s incredibly helpful tool for the teacher and is often shared with the students but not tracked by them.

I teach grad students so we shared our playlist on Spotify.

@HeatherL114 My former middle school students are now teachers and graduates of the grad school I work at. I taught them 7th grade and now they teach 7th grade lol.
