What is Fake: A message circulating in punjabi language about the news IT rules that now Whatsapp messages and calls including video calls will be recorded by government. Also there are other claims too. Even it was shared by the punjab govt DWSS Tarn Taran handle.

What is true: There is nothing like this. PIB Fact check Govt handle has clarified that there is no such thing presently done by the govt. Also Whatsapp has filed a case against these IT rules 2021 in Delhi High Court. So all the claims in the viral message are fake.
