I built Scene Palette to pick colors for my games.
Drop in an image, generate a palette, preview it on a live UI, and export CSS, Godot, JSON & more.
Free, open source, and in beta. I'd love feedback, especially bug reports.

Great catch! The samples were added in a quick patch, and I missed updating the plate name when switching between them. I checked the code, and you're right. The CSS export is just carrying that name over.
Thanks for actually testing the export too! I'll get that fixed. Really appreciate the feedback!

Just played the demo and had way more fun than I expected! ๐ The pacing keeps you on your toes, the different pigeon types keep things interesting, and I really like the weapon + runes combos.
Honestly, I would've bought it tonight if it was available. Wishlisted instead! ๐ฆ Great work!
If you're into AI, indie game development, or pixel art, let's connect! ๐ค
I build open-source tools and games.
Happy to beta test your projects, hunt bugs, and exchange feedback.
What are you building?
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman believes people owning RAM is wasteful, and that it belongs in data centers instead.
"From a global allocation perspective, actually, itโs quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the worldโs limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer."
Sam was talking about global DRAM allocation, not whether local models are useless.
I have 64GB of RAM in constant use running Codex, development tools, builds, tests, and parallel agents.
The AI model might run in a data center, but the work is still happening on my machine.
Not every developer is sitting around with 95% of their RAM idle. And not everyone buying 128GB is trying to run a local LLM.
@ajambrosino My biggest Codex performance issue is stale agents holding RAM.
Windows 11, 64GB RAM. Even after fully exiting Codex, not just closing the window, some agent processes remain running and holding memory.
I need that RAM for Unreal Engine. Better cleanup on exit would help.
@thsottiaux Thank you for listening to the concerns of Pro users. We can be an unruly bunch sometimes, but it's because we genuinely care about the product.
Credit where it's due. You made the right call.

@matterrazti You really nailed happy Shaula. Getting a character model to look right is one thing, but capturing her actual personality through facial expressions is a whole different skill. Great work!
@silic2023 That's a really good point. I've been testing it with my own images so much that I hadn't considered the empty state for first-time users.
A sample image makes a lot of sense. I'll add that to the next update. Appreciate you taking the time to try it!
