@ghoulie11@emeriticus Again, I'm not against the tech
I'm against the owners of that tech, and if the disruption of the proliferation of data centres is the only thing we can do right now to fuck them over, then that's good
@ExistentialEnso@ComputerTwink Cool, what if we first get socialism and destroy all those companies so we can use the cool tech for good instead of making humanity more miserable?
@ghoulie11@emeriticus As a commie I think AI could be used for the emancipation of the working class. In a vacuum it could be amazing for humanity
But under the current system, with who owns the data centres, they will only make life worse for the common man
@StefanFSchubert@thatsamoray@ramez My 200 year old house with 3ft thick stone walls remains at comfortable temperature throughout the whole summer
Those measures were sufficient in the past. It's just really expensive or space inefficient to build houses like that anymore, AC is cheaper
@u2gwk@possiblyazure Every time I open a spreadsheet on my phone I want to shoot myself, so I definitely understand the use case for a foldable.
I'm not a slave to work so I didn't buy one... But if I were self employed and used spreadsheets often I definitely would buy one
@jose40840063237@BasedNorthmathr I'm not saying the UK was paradise. But it was salvageable long term. Thatcher sold the country off for cheap which gave us a few decent years before inevitably the shit hit the fun
@Ambitec_85@andresferez@___R3V___ Pues madre mía que picado estás con el tema con todas las respuestas aquí en Twitter
Como te escuece y que ganas tienes de sentirte importante, que se ve que no te hacen caso en casa
@matt_krwn5@Undue_Risk He's part of the population that gets the most shafted. He's rich enough to pay in the highest bracket but not rich enough to dodge all the taxes like the billionaires who barely pay any proportionally
El mito neoliberal que sostiene que "los trabajadores no arriesgan capital y cobran igual aunque la empresa pierda plata" es una de las coartadas ideológicas más eficaces del capitalismo contemporáneo. 1/12
@nycconservat@samkn3n Except it was a coordinated effect by the Moroccan government to punish Spain for getting closer to Algeria.
Practically all the 50k migrants are already back in Morocco.
The government successfully maintained the border, absolutely no illegal immigration happened
@291013JJ@marcosagusstinn What made Iran what it is today is precisely the US and Israel
If the socialist had taken control of Iran and Afghanistan we wouldn't be in this fucking mess. But no, the US had to give it to the Islamists
@chicgibson@Dr_W_E_Bulmer It doesn't fucking matter, for the people of the north they feel they have a distinctive culture from the south and feel disempowered with the current politics (caused by decades of deindustrialization and neglect)
This is simply an attempt of distributing wealth out of London
