Art is subjectively judged. Oscars are subjective & not a fair impartial contest. People love both films. Costner made a film that went against all the trends of the day so it made for a glaring contrast. They went for it. The academy is a joke and always has been. It’s Hollywood stroking itself for its own sake. Why worry about who won?
