I've heard that a petition has been launched in the Canadian Parliament to put a stop to the excessive influence of payment service providers. It specifically mentions the removal of games from VISA, Mastercard, and Steam, and appears to be legitimate, involving a leading member of the Canadian Parliament. Its contents are in line with what we urgently need right now. (Link in the reply section.)

1. Stop financial discrimination by payment platforms against legal goods and services;

2. Ensure transparency to consumers about content restrictions and the rationale behind them; and

3. Protect creators' rights to make legal adult content and ensure a fair appeals process for any penalized media.

The deadline is October 25th. I believe the petition is open to Canadian citizens, but I hope you will join in spreading the word and supporting it.

You might think "Well just use an ad block and they won't get any ad revenue." Not good enough. They still make plenty of money in spite of that. If you want this to stop. LOG OUT. Do not use Youtube. Creators may suffer but if we don't rip the bandaid off, EVERYONE will suffer.

Seriously, stop using Youtube. They're stealing your information, they're abusing their creators with an entirely unfair copyright system and now I've heard they intend to implement A.I. to alter videos... without the creators consent.
