Today we finished our farm unit with a great day! From pig farmers weighing poop and others scrubbing animals with sight words to syllable silos and classroom chickens...it was quite the adventure! Big thanks to our principal Mr. Sliziak for joining in on the fun dressed as a cow
Today was wishy washy day! We washed animals with suds after they took dips in a mud bath (saying sight words and letters that we found). We measured how far animals traveled down a hill. We popped bubbles while saying letter sounds and of course...had a sponge race!
Space day for kindies! One of our favourite space games: moon rock sight words. Have letters wrapped in tin foil around the room. Get students to build words together and just for fun..get them to write the words under the tables (upside down like astronauts)!
Today we incorporated math, literacy and a ton of fun for our 100th day of school! From multiple STEM activities to 100 letter poems and more. Had to end the day with a 100 year old teacher race too! Never a dull moment!
